ArcBrush Pro Refund Policy
Last updated: July 9, 2026
Money-back window
If you are not satisfied with ArcBrush Pro, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase date. No reason is required. Requests after this window are evaluated case by case at our discretion. This is a voluntary policy: it applies independently of, and in addition to, any statutory rights you have.
What is covered
The refund policy applies to the one-time ArcBrush Pro license ($49, or the discounted price after a promotion code is applied at checkout). It does not apply to the two Cloud nodes (Remove Background, Upscale), which are free and carry no purchase price.
What happens when a refund is issued
ArcBrush Pro is a digital good delivered immediately on purchase. A full refund revokes the license, and a payment dispute or chargeback resolved against the purchase may do the same: your license file is invalidated on our side, so it can no longer be re-sent or downloaded, and it stops working on any machine the next time that machine happens to be online (this check is quiet and opportunistic, and does not require you to do anything). If the license is attached to an account, that account returns to the Free / Personal tier, and the Pro features (the 32-bit (float) mode and 16-bit / OpenEXR / OCIO-managed export) become unavailable. Revocation affects future use of the Pro features only: output you created while properly licensed remains yours, and your files and 8-bit work are not affected - the free editor keeps working. If you re-purchase later, you receive a new license file.
Partial refunds
A partial refund of a Pro charge does not revoke your entitlement. The Pro license is a binary grant; there is no proportional partial revocation.
Studio licenses
Annual Studio licenses are currently sold through sales (contact@arcbrush.com) rather than self-serve checkout. Unless stated otherwise at the point of purchase, the same 14-day money-back window applies to a Studio purchase as a whole (a full refund of the purchase; there are no per-seat partial refunds). A refunded Studio purchase returns the account to its prior plan, and its seats' access to the Pro features ends when each device next refreshes its entitlement.
EU and UK consumers - statutory cooling-off right
Under EU and UK law, consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for contracts concluded online ("cooling-off period"). For digital content delivered immediately, this right can be waived with your prior express consent and acknowledgment that the right is lost on immediate delivery. Where we act as the seller, any required consent and acknowledgment are requested at checkout before delivery begins; where our payment provider is the merchant of record, that provider handles the applicable consumer-law disclosures. Where the waiver is valid, our voluntary money-back window above still applies. Where you are entitled to the statutory cooling-off right and have not waived it, you may exercise it within the statutory period by contacting support.
